Search by the system you work on
Electrical notices may cover lighting, power distribution, generators, controls or maintenance. Use electrical as a starting point, then try a separate equipment or service keyword. Combined construction packages can include electrical work alongside other disciplines.
Plan safe access and shutdowns
Check occupied buildings, outage windows, site security and coordination with other trades. Determine who arranges isolation, permits, inspections and commissioning. Remote or restricted sites can require more travel and preparation than the installation itself.
Check qualifications and ongoing duties
Confirm the licensing, insurance and technical evidence required for the work location and systems involved. For maintenance, compare response times, spare parts, reporting and emergency availability with your actual capacity. Read the testing and handover requirements before costing the work.
Your quick checklist
- Which systems and voltages are in scope?
- Can we meet local licensing and buyer requirements?
- Who controls shutdowns and access?
- Are commissioning, records and emergency response included?
