Use one practical starting term
Start with a service such as cleaning, roofing or software. Try synonyms in separate searches and compare the results. Adding words narrows the match. A buyer may use a broader project title, so explore nearby service descriptions before assuming there is no relevant work.
Choose regions and keep uncertain locations visible
Irish filters use the published work regions, including Dublin, Border, West, Midlands and the southern and eastern regions. These are broad statistical areas, not exact site addresses. Keep locations to check visible if you can travel or deliver remotely; the buyer’s office address is not substituted for the work location.
Treat value as a starting point
Published values may cover several lots, years or suppliers and are not guaranteed revenue. Leave unknown values visible until you have reviewed the shortlist. Closing dates are shown in Irish local time. Check lot-specific dates and amendments in the original notice before committing to a bid.
Save the search and choose emails
Free includes one saved search and optional weekly emails with up to three shortened previews. Verify your email and opt in; the first weekly email is due after seven days if there are new matches. Ireland Paid includes multiple searches and optional daily or weekly emails. Manage frequency in Account or unsubscribe from any matching email.
Your quick checklist
- Start broad and try separate synonyms.
- Keep uncertain locations and values until reviewed.
- Verify your email before choosing matching alerts.
- Check the original notice before bidding.
