Search for the actual work
Electrical notices may cover maintenance, lighting, fire systems, testing or a larger refurbishment. Try separate searches for the services you deliver. Check whether several specialist packages are combined in one contract.
Check access and continuity
Read the building schedule, isolation requirements, working hours and arrangements for occupied sites. Include temporary supply, safe access and coordination with other contractors where required. Confirm mandatory site visits and the process for technical questions.
Prepare the handover and evidence
Allow for testing, certification, drawings, operating information and warranty support. Check stated competence, insurance and relevant project requirements. Price equipment lead times and replacement availability against the contract programme.
Your quick checklist
- Which systems and sites are covered?
- What shutdowns and access restrictions apply?
- Are lead times compatible with the programme?
- What certification and handover documents are required?
